Luxury Portable Bathroom Requirements

Easily connects to existing water, power and sewer line/septic tank services. 

There are some important factors you need to consider before hiring one of our Luxury Portable Bathrooms.

Suitable access is required

• The bathroom is 2400 mm wide at the wheel arches, 2650mm high and 4000mm long including the draw bar. The higher part of the bathroom is 1800mm wide. Make sure it will fit where you want it to go. Remember to include the tow vehicle and don’t forget roof eaves, pipes, air conditioning systems, trees and shrubs and other obstructions. Don’t forget deep driveway gutters. The bathrooms have a sump 200mm at the front on the bathroom. Bathrooms weigh 700 kilograms. Email photos of site and access if you are unsure. Please have all plants trimmed and obstacles removed before delivery.

• If we can not install on delivery due to unsuitable access or services you may forfeit your whole hire payment. A pre-hire inspection can be arranged. Our representatives are good drivers but are not precision stunt drivers. We will not risk damage to our bathrooms.

• A 10 AMP power supply of 240 volts. The bathroom requires two power points preferably on two separate circuits. Please ensure the power points are in good condition. We supply 25 metre leads tagged and tested for your safety. No double adaptors can be used. A generator of 5.5 KVA is sufficient for remote locations.

Water

• Water needs to be connected so a tap is required. Preferably a garden tap with thread type connection under mains or pump pressure. We will supply the tap connection and 20 metres of AS2070 drinking quality hose. Extra hose can be supplied at your request. Check to see if your tap leaks when turned on.

Sewer line or septic tank

• Bathroom waste is discharged via  a 32mm flexible hose pumped automatically into your existing sewer or septic tank through an overflow relief gully or inspection opening within 50 metres Yes we can pump up hill. Inspect your outside sewer system for a suitable opening. If in doubt please contact your local plumber or arrange a pre-hire inspection. Septic tanks and envirocycle type systems are fine. Holding tanks can be supplied.

Extras

• We supply all necessary hoses and connections. Please advise us if the distance to sewer services is greater than 20 metres. Maximum distance is 50 metres with a one metre rise. We have 1000 litre tanks for hire for sites without sewer or septic facilities. The bathroom can be modified so the shower water is diverted in to your garden. Please advise us in advance if you would like this option.
• Ground must be reasonably level. If the site is not level please inform us.
• A security deposit may be required which is refundable once the bathroom and its accessories are returned in the same condition as delivered. The hirer will be invoiced  for any damage to the bathroom.
• Bathrooms must be cleaned out before pick up. Excessive dirt and grime will attract a cleaning fee dependent on time required to return the bathroom to the same condition it was in when handed over to you.
• If you supply labour to manoeuvre the bathroom into place by hand then the same labour must be provided on pick up or your bond may not be refunded. The bathroom weighs 700 kilograms.

No trades people or council permits required unless on council property.
